Bread Dividing by a Cunning Monkey

Two mice once found a piece of bread. It was hard for them to agree on how to split it because everyone wanted the most. They fought back and forth for a while. All of a sudden, they saw a monkey walking by. The monkey was then told to divide up the bread. The monkey knows a lot of things. According to him, “It is really a difficult task.” He had scales on him. He took the loaf in half and put each half on its own scale. Different parts had different weights. He took a bite of the bigger pieces and then weighed them again. This time, the bigger part was the other one. He bit off that part, but it was still not even.

So, he kept making the same movements. There was only one small piece of bread left. “Stop! “Stop!” the rats yelled. “You’ve eaten all of our bread!” You should give back the piece of bread. We’ll figure out how to split up among ourselves. The monkey was angry and said, “I have worked hard for you.” I’ll have to be happy with this small amount of money as pay. Having just said this, he ate the whole piece of bread and left.

Dividing the Bread/Cake

There used to be a house with two cats. They were deeply connected to each other. Two cats broke into the house of a neighbour and took some cake. Everyone wanted a bigger piece of the pie. None of them were willing to give in even a little. In order to get justice, they turned to a monkey. The monkey told them all that they would get an equal share. He brought some tools with him, including a scale. He cut the cake in half before weighing the whole thing. so He cut the big one up by biting it. After that, the smaller piece got bigger while the bigger one got smaller. The monkey just kept going and biting. Not even

a second went by before the slice of cake got a lot smaller. The two cats were angry as they watched what was happening. The monkey finally gave them back the cake after stopping to eat it. The monkey said he didn’t take the cake, though. He said that he was entitled to the last piece of cake as payment. As soon as the two cats realized what they had done wrong, they started to cry over the cake. They promised to never make that mistake again and to keep getting along.
